Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta menyiapkan lahan untuk parkir truk kontainer untuk mencegah kemacetan di Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara. Lahan yang disiapkan itu seluas 5 hektare.
“Kami memberikan ruang kepada Pelindo kurang lebih 5 hektare di Terminal Tanah Merdeka untuk tempat parkirnya,” ujar Pramono di Balai Kota Jakarta, Selasa (31/3/2026).
Dia mengatakan lahan tersebut mampu menampung 200 truk kontainer yang sebelumnya kerap menumpuk di sekitar pelabuhan akibat meningkatnya aktivitas bongkar muat usai Lebaran. Tahun lalu, kondisi itu memicu kemacetan parah hingga mengular ke berbagai titik di Jakarta Utara.
Pramono mengingatkan kemacetan usai Lebaran tahun 2025 menjadi pelajaran penting bagi Pemprov DKI. Menurutnya, lonjakan aktivitas pelabuhan tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan area parkir truk kontainer.
“Ada kenaikan aktivitas di pelabuhan sementara tempat parkirnya tidak ada dan kemudian menyebabkan kemacetan horor seperti tahun yang lalu,” ungkapnya.
Dia mengatakan Pemprov DKI dan Pelindo telah melakukan koordinasi jauh hari sebelum Lebaran tahun ini. Dia berharap aktivitas bongkar muat di pelabuhan bisa berjalan lancar.
“Kami menggratiskan kepada Pelindo karena kalau sampai terjadi kemacetan seperti tahun lalu itu cost-nya terlalu tinggi sekali,” ujarnya.
